Membership Expectations & Requirements
To maintain active status in AΘN, members must: uphold the integrity, values, and mission of Alpha Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. Alpha Theta Nu Sorority, Inc., we do not permit dual membership with other collegiate & non-collegiate sororities. Prospective and active members must meet the following requirements:
Age & Professional Experience
- Must be at least 30 years old (turning 30 within 6 months of applying).
- Must have owned a business for at least two years or have been in a professional career for a minimum of two years.
Legacy & Supreme Membership
- Legacy Status: Eligibility through a mother, grandmother, sister, or daughter who is an active or past member.
- Supreme Status: Reserved for retired women aged 60+ who seek continued leadership and service within the sorority.
Criminal Background Check
- All prospective members must purchase and pass a criminal background check as part of the application process.
- A non-refundable administrative fee is required for processing the background check and application.
